Car buying advice that will save you money...

Free car buying advice is available everywhere - from the people at work to the clerk at the 7-11. But car buying tips from inside the dealership are non-existent. (Why would a dealership give you car buying advice?!?)

You see, most dealerships want to keep the buying process a secret, why should you know anything about buying cars? What they don't understand is that there are no secrets in the car business - if you're patient enough, you can find out everything about the new car you're considering, even how much the dealer paid for it!

Finding this information is easy... how you use it to buy your new car is the hard part. Information won't do you much good when you attempt to buy the car you want unless you're prepared for the sales process at the dealership. This is where good car buying advice will help you. (And bad car buying tips will hurt you!)

"Knowing what to watch out for and what to say are almost as important as knowing what the dealer paid for the car."

If you listen to all of the online "gurus", you're supposed to take your copy of the dealer's cost, march into the showroom like Sherman marched on Atlanta, and demand to buy the vehicle at (or below!) what the dealer paid for it! According to the "experts", this will get you the best deal on the car you want.

Wrong!

Why do I say this? Who am I to question the online "experts"? Why do I claim to know more than they do?

That's easy. I'm a sales manager at a large domestic dealership. I've been in the car business for over twenty-eight years, twenty-seven as a manager. The advice that I offer comes from experience, not opinions.

The new car dealership, no matter what you've heard, is just like any other retailer. The biggest difference is the price of the product. (You don't normally go into the drugstore and spend $30,000 on one item!)

"But there has always been a dark cloud over the car business..."

(Mistrust, misdeeds, mistakes, misstatements...(hope I didn't "miss" any!)

Most of this stems from the fact that you must negotiate your purchase at a dealership. When is the last time you negotiated your price for clothes, furniture, or groceries?

"Car buying should not be scary, it shouldn't even be unpleasant..."

Yet most buyers approach a dealership with more fear than they feel going to the dentist! Here's why...

Are you a good negotiator? (Tell the truth!) Do you buy a new car 10 or 20 times a day... or once every 3 to 5 year like everybody else?

"The staff at a dealership has a lot more experience at selling cars than you do at buying them."

Do you really think that you're on a level playing field at the dealership?

We train salespeople daily on how to negotiate with customers. How to handle their questions and hesitation, and how to overcome their objections. All with one purpose in mind... to sell every customer a car.

"How much training to buy a car do you get on a daily basis?"

Where do you turn to get good, solid advice on buying a car?

How about from a source inside the dealership? After talking to several of my customers, I finally decided to take my 28 years of experience and offer you the best information you can find on buying a car...
